I’m on a hunt for a new mascara for no other reason than my irrational belief that although my current mascara is great, there’s bound to be something better. I have a mascara addiction and I’m constantly chasing the high that comes from researching and then selecting my next mascara purchase. This is usually followed by disappointment, but occasionally I strike it lucky and as I’m already in love with Giorgio Armani’s Luminous Silk Foundation, I really can’t wait to try their new Eyes to Kill Lash Stretching Mascara.
I much prefer lengthening mascaras as opposed to volumising ones, and up until the release of the Lash Stretching Mascara, the Eyes to Kill mascara range appeared to be mainly aimed at volumising lashes. This new mascara has an innovative (and currently well-received) brush combining one side that’s flat with short, diagonally-spaced bristles which grip each lash and pull them outwards and one rounded side with fan shaped bristles to continue the stretching process.
I certainly love the idea of this mascara and I really can’t wait to try it. It’s currently a Selfridges exclusive retailing for £23.50 and as soon as it’s in stock again I’ll be ordering, so expect the review to follow soon! What’s your favourite lengthening mascara?
