As promised, her’s a NOTD featuring the key nail shade from No7′s spring capsule collection, Tip Toes*.

Tip Toes is a slightly pink/peach variation of nude shot through with a subtle hint of silver shimmer.  The shimmer isn’t in your face at all, and just keeps the colour alive and stops it looking flat as a lot of beiges and nudes can appear.

This is two coats with a base coat and a top coat.  It’s easy to apply; it went streaky on the first coat but evened out brilliantly on the second coat. It also had a very glossy finish that was enhanced by the shimmer.

I really like this shade as it’s a very easy to wear and natural nude that doesn’t drain me of colour and instead works in harmony with my skin tone.  I wouldn’t say it’s the nude to end all nudes, but it’s certainly a great addition to any collection and at £6 it’s quite the steal.  It’s available now from Boots and there’s currently a buy-one-get-another-half-price promo going on for No7 products, so now’s the time to shop!
