Elemis Super Facial At Champneys Day Spa

Champneys St AlbansPIN IT

I’m rushing this post through even though I have sooooo much to write about as it’s an amazing deal that only lasts until the end of this month (May 2013) so I want as many readers to be able to take advantage as possible! A couple of days ago, I visited Champneys Day Spa in St Albans for an Elemis Super Facial.  I have an extremely loving relationship with Elemis products as I find them so reliably beneficial for my skin and I’m yet to try a ‘meh’ product from them, so the idea of 55 minutes of pampering all based around Elemis products sounded right up my street!

There are three variants of the Super Facial: Fruit Active Glow for dull, lifeless skin, Exotic Moisture Dew for dry skin and Herbal Lavender repair for combination and oily skin.  As I’m currently pregnant and have to tread carefully with what ingredients I use, my therapist Nishita very kindly tailor-made my facial so that it would both treat my crazy, hormonal skin and was also pregnancy friendly.  The Super Facial involves a double cleanse, treatment mask, neck and shoulder massage, second mask, scalp massage and finishing products of day cream and eye cream.  It’s an extremely indulgent treatment that focuses just as much on the pampering elements as using products that work.  As it’s carried out by an Elemis specialist, the products used will be of absolute benefit to your skin and you will leave the salon glowing…quite an achievement for my hormone-battered skin which has refused to glow for at least a month! My skin felt wonderfully nourished yet also calmed.  I have a couple of hormonal breakout patches at the moment and they felt settled and soothed, whilst my dryness felt considerably eased.  I visited my mum afterwards who wasn’t aware I’d been for a facial and she asked me what I used to look so glowing.  I rarely get that sort of obvious and immediate reaction from a facial, so it’s definitely a treatment I’d highly recommend.

The absolute best part of this all is that it’s a treatment worth £75 that’s currently priced at £29.50!  Can you believe that? I was astonished when I found out the price post-treatment and I would definitely suggest getting yourself booked in ASAP as you haven’t got long to take advantage of the offer and I would imagine there are very spots left.  The Elemis Super Facial is available at all Champneys Day Spas.  The one I visited is in St Albans.
