Sisley Phyto-Ombre Glow Shadows in Silver, Pearl, Gold and Amber

Sisley Phyto-Ombre GlowPIN ITIn 2013, Sisley launched a small collection of metallic shadows as an extension of their Phyto-Ombre Eclat range called Phyto-Ombre Glow, which is available in four shades: Silver, Pearl, Gold and Amber.  This small but perfectly formed collection is a dream come true for anyone who loves their neutrals but fancies jazzing them up a bit, as these beautiful shades offer both the glamour of highly-pigmented and shimmery shadows with the ease of neutral, wearable shades.

The four shades of Sisley Phyto-Ombre Glow are:

Silver – a surprisingly warm take on a silvery finish that looks white in certain lights; this shade is an amazing highlighter shade.

Pearl – an everyday shade that will enhance and brighten the eyes and the finish is a warm, wheat shade.

Gold – this is the shade that anyone with blue eyes needs in their collection as it’s the perfect bright, orangey gold shade that makes blue eyes pop; I’ll try and upload a picture soon to show you what I mean.

Amber – this is both the darkest and coolest shade in the collection which packs a really strong punch of colour.  It’s pigmented enough to be used as a liner, but it can also be sheered out for day wear, so this is probably the most versatile of the bunch.

The texture is almost sponge-like in consistency and you only need a small amount for a fully opaque finish.  As you’d expect from a Sisley product, the quality speaks for itself and you don’t need to prime the lids beforehand.  Once on the eye you’re left with a rich, shimmery finish that brightens and lifts the eye area – especially the lighter shades – all of which can be sheered out or built-up depending on what look you’re going for.
