I’ve been a long-term fan of the Burt’s Bees Lip Shimmer (contrary to their name they’re more shiny rather than shimmery thankfully!) so when I heard the brand were adding to their line of lip colours I was very excited to find out more. There’s now a massive range that spans over four different products; new Natural Lipglosses and Natural Lip Shines, as well as the existing Lip Shimmers and Tinted Lip Colours.PIN IT
In the Natural Lipgloss line there are twelve different shades in total spanning a good selection of mostly pinks, berries and nudes. The new Natural Lip Shines are made up of six shades which are mostly pink, although the Blush shade is quite nude.PIN IT
The Lip Shimmers have been upgraded to include eleven shades and these are mostly pinks and nudes, although there are a couple of red-toned shades such as Cherry and Rhubarb. In my mind these are the most colour packed of the range, so if you’re looking for a stronger pop of colour whilst still making use of the tinted lip balm style product (these are packed full of goodies such as Shea Butter and Fruit Seed Oil) then these are the ones for you.PIN IT
Last up are the Tinted Lip Colours which are available in nine shades that cover a good spectrum whilst still including some really good pinks. These are probably my favourite from Burt’s Bees as they offer very buildable colour and feel soooo good on the lips, plus the pinks shades are lovely.PIN IT
All of the lip products in the Burt’s Bees range are 100% natural. I really love the range as these are the sort of products I go for; multi-taskers that give pretty, natural colour whilst treating lips to a dose of lip-loving moisture, plus they’re brilliantly formulated and well priced. I’ll be posting more about a couple of products from the line-up soon, so keep an eye out for that! The Lip Glosses are £8.99, the Lip Shimmers are £5.99, Lip Shines are £6.99 and the Tinted Lip Colours are £5.99. The new products and shades are launching in April 2014.
