Dermalogica Multivitamin Power Recovery Masque

Oh how I love a good mask, especially one that fulfils a multitude of tasks such as the Dermalogica Multivitamin Power Recovery Masque, which is a thick, creamy formula packed full of vitamins A, C and E that meet various skincare benefits.  Interestingly, the main vitamins I take for my tricky skin are A, C and E so I’m quite happy to be taking a multidisciplinary approach to my skincare vitamins!

The Dermalogica Multivitamin Power Recovery Masque is designed to rescue skin that’s showing signs of stress with things like dehydration and dullness, whilst also soothing inflammation making this a great choice for combination skin and actually a very effective spot-soother.  It’s a non-drying formula that you apply in a thick layer before leaving to do its thing for 10-15 minutes…or 45 if you’re me.  At the start it looks like a thick, slightly peachy cream on the skin, but after a while your skin starts taking what it needs (I’m assuming) from the mask so you’re left with a lovely, bright orange finish as in the picture below:

This is a godsend for stressed skin as it leaves such a noticeable difference; skin looks smother, calmer and feels really hydrated; I’m having real hydration issues at the moment as literally nothing is working and my skin feels constantly tight, but this really eases it (albeit only for about 24 hours, but that’s still miles better than most of the other things I’m using!) and it’s a great pre-event mask that will pep-up dull skin.  This is definitely one for the long-term skincare kit and it isn’t mickey-taking expensive at £35.30 here – link.
