12 Days of Christmas 2014: Boots No7 Eye Shadow Palette

Last year I put together a 12 Days of Christmas series to showcase 12 of my favourite Christmas gifts and I’ve decided to do the same again this year! It’s just over 6 weeks until the big day, so even though it feels like it’s ages away it’s actually pretty close.  Therefore I thought I’d better crack on and make a start with this gorgeous palette from No7.

When I saw the Boots No7 Eye Shadow Palette at the press show I thought it was beautiful, then I got it in my hands and thought it was even more fabulous, then I realised that it was actually an aggregation of the best picks from the No7 duos, trios and quads and I thought this was one helluva palette.  To me it looks like a luxury palette that would be a very welcome present for any beauty lover.

It’s a collection of 20 shadows that I think could all safely sit within the nude/neutral theme; there are dusky greens and moody greys alongside the more traditional browns and beiges.  There’s also all three shades from my favourite trio – Good Earth (review here) – so it really is a lovely collection. I also love the presentation which is a clean and very easy to work with flip-top case with a decent sized mirror inside.  You can find it at Boots for the bargain price of £20.

What a nice palette! I love that it contains a nice mix of subtle and intense shades. Looks very versatile.
