I get sent the most fantastic, luxurious things and it’s a real perk of the job, but when I get a notification saying I’m being sent the newest Invisibobble collection I get very excited…and I have no idea why, I still can’t really explain it! I think it’s just that they’re the perfect blend of all things fabulous: cheap, effective and pretty.

The Time to Shine collection is their Christmas offering and it’s nailed Christmas perfectly; there are four colours and each one is clear with a line of – what looks like – coloured tinsel running through the middle; simple yet impactful, a pack of these will make for a great stocking filler.  The four colours are: You’re Golden (gold), Chrome Sweet Chrome (silver), Bronze me Pretty (bronze) and Rose Muse (pink) and obviously pink is my favourite, but I like Chrome Sweet Chrome too.  The golden ones are fine, just not really my bag, but these are such lovely, subtle hair bands that any of them can be worn with anything.

I really do love Invisibobbles and I can’t remember the last time I tied my hair with a traditional hairband – usually the only time it happens is when I can’t find any of my Invisibobbles! Unfortunately I now lose them at the same rate as all other hairbands…I personally have no problem sleeping in these and I don’t find them uncomfortable to store on my wrist either.  I also find them really handy for when I have wet hair as you can bunch your hair together and keep it in place with these without causing any knots or rips in the hair.  Each pack contains three Invisibobbles and the pack is £4.95, although I note that Feel Unique have a 3for2 promo on that includes these, so now is a great time to stock-up.  Head here – link – to find them.
