Mask Monday: B. Clay Face Mask Pods

B Clay Face Masks Review

B. are a brand with a solid reputation for supplying decent, no-frills (but very effective) skincare and make-up that comfortably rivals any similarly priced high street brands.  They’ve recently launched a range of clay face masks which are available in either pots of 50ml of product, or dinky little pods for those who want to dip their toe in or find a great product for travelling.

B Clay Face Masks Review

There are four varieties of the B. Clay Masks: B. Detoxed Clay Face Mask to reduce blemishes and absorb dirt; B. Glowing Clay Face Mask that provides a light exfoliation to give skin its glow back; B.Purified for pulling out impurities and mattifying an oily complexion, and finally, the B. Hydrated Mask, which isn’t actually a clay mask as it’s aimed at providing hydration and giving skin a nourishing boost, but it’s been included in the new launches and is available in the same formats.

B Clay Face Masks Review

The clay masks are basically your ol’ reliable, typical clay masks that provide a good, deep clean that won’t blow your socks off, but also won’t burn your skin off either, so expect a decent, everyday clay product that’s generously portioned in the pods.  I especially like the fact that the pods are so travel-friendly and ideal for popping in your bag for a weekend away.  If you’re frugal, you could definitely squeeze a couple of uses out of each pod, making the £2.49 price point fairly decent…until you realise the pots are currently on special at less than a fiver! I think, if you need them for travelling then then pods are handy little products, but if you can go for the pot, then that’s definitely a better investment.  The B. Clay Face Mask Pods (and pots) are available at Superdrug now.  I can only find the pots which are here – link.
