The August 2018 Glossybox is a Pride edition and it’s fantastic! Packed full of six full-sized products that are fun, exciting and perfectly in-keeping with the Pride vibe, this is a brilliant box of goodies presented in a gorgeously bright box.
The Glossybox August 2018 box is pretty much entirely make-up, although there is a single skincare item too. I love everything about this box and I think it’ll be really well-received – such a fun edit!
I go up and down with sheet masks but I’m definitely feeling the love for them at the moment, especially anything with Hyaluronic Acid, so obviously I’m more than happy to try the Victoria’s Secret Pink Let’s Pre Glam Perfecting Sheet Mask, which leads with Hyaluronic Acid and promises to help achieve a flawless base for party make-up. There are two Rimmel London products in the box, first of which is the Ink Me Heart Stamp Tattoo, which is literally a heart stamp that you can use to place little black heart shapes wherever you fancy, providing all the cuteness. Speaking of cuteness, the very “Instagrammable” Trifle Cosmetics Lip & Cheek Jam is adorable to look at, providing a very pretty hint of long-lasting, sheeny colour to lips and cheeks.
Part two of the Rimmel London goodies is the Sticker Tattoos, which work alongside the Heart Stamp Tattoo allowing you to be as creative as you like. Next up is the 3ina The Shadow Paint 703, which appears to be a deep, royal blue, that I’m only slotting low on my list because it’s not the sort of shade I would wear, but I still think it’s an awesome inclusion. Finally there’s the Kaleido Cosmetics Astrolight Highlighter, another fantastic product to be included in the box, but it’s quite a deep and warm shade, and as someone who like the pale and cool highlighters, this won’t get much use from me.
