Palladio Herbal Dual Wet & Dry Foundation

I have had this foundation for absolutely ages and I kept meaning to review it, but the problem is that I use it a lot and keep it on me, so it was tricky to pin down a time to give it a clean and take some pictures, so sorry for the fact that it's half used in the images in this review! Palladio Herbal Dual Wet & Dry Foundation is a multi-use product.  It can be used dry as either a foundation or a setting powder and wet as a concealer or more liq[...]

Eve Lom Cleanser

The lovely BritishBeautyBlogger gave me this amazing cleanser to try a while ago, but it's only recently that I've developed a bit of an infatuation with it.  It's really not cheap, so I've been trying to keep it as a product that I only use during my at home facials, but it's only of late that it's been appearing more regularly in my daily routine because it is just. so. fabulous. It's quite an interesting cleanser that's a little tricky to describ[...]

Rimmel 60 Second Nail Polish

I'll start by apologising for the manky state of my cuticles.  I just cannot get them to look neat without drawing blood.  Anyway....as any of my regular readers will know, I'm resigned to the idea of being absolutely rubbish at applying nail varnish.  I don't know why as I'm usually a fairly capable girl, but stick a fiddly, varnish brush in front of me and it's globs, smears and missed bits ahoy.  However, I may have found my saviour in Rimmel[...]

Myleene Klass Nail Wraps

I don't know what it is, but I really don't like celebrity endorsed products.  There's no logic to it, I'm just less likely to purchase something if it has a smiley celebrity on the front of its packaging.  However, with a limited choice of Nail Wraps at my local Boots, I decided to give Myleene's wraps a try.If NCLA were my all time faves and Nail Rock were the polar opposite, Myleene's Nails (doesn't that make it sound a bit like a local salon?)[...]

Illamasqua Cream Blusher in Promise

I have been obsessing about this blusher ever since my obsession with Illamasqua's Katie powder blusher ceased once I actually got it in my possession when visiting the Illamasqua store.  My lovely mother bought me a few Illamasqua products for Christmas and this was one of them. Both the colour and the consistency are absolutely amazing and I'm definitely a fan of their cream blushers.  Consequently, I'm now lusting after a few more and planning[...]

Jamela Skincare Lavender After Sun Restoring Sleeping Gel Facial Mask

Jamela are a brand who made both my 2011 top picks list here and my skincare brands to watch list here for good reason. They're a fairly niche brand who make natural, vegan-friendly (no animal testing or animal ingredients) masks and treatment serums.  Their speciality are sheet masks which I'll review soon, but the main reason I'm a convert to this line is due to my experience with the Sleeping Gel Facial Mask. The mask comes in a tub and is a reall[...]

Marks and Spencer Spa Collection: Skin Nourishing Body Wash and Ultra Energising Shower Gel

As mentioned here, Marks and Spencer recently made a few new additions to their Spa Collection and these included a few new body washes.  I'm currently using the Nourishing Body Wash and the boyfriend is using the Ultra Energising Shower Gel. I'll start with the Nourishing Body Wash.  For me, I need a body wash that is as moisturising as possible.  I don't have particularly dry skin, but I like the idea of using a wash that can both cleanse my ski[...]

Illamasqua Skin Base Foundation

I've heard so many amazing things about this foundation so I was really excited to try this.  I've only recently become acquainted with Illamasqua and having found the most perfect blusher in the form of their powder blush in Katie, I definitely wanted to branch out and try a few more of their offerings.  My lovely mum agreed to purchase a few Illamasqua goodies for me for Christmas (to see what else I got, have a look here) and included in this mi[...]

Nail Rock Designer Nail Wraps

Since using the NCLA wraps (review of which can be found here) I've developed a bit of an infatuation with nail wraps in general and as a consequence, I'm on a mission to find the best.  I don't like the idea of faffing about with heating them, so I'm only open to trying the ones where you can stick and go. I got a few good days of use out of my NCLA ones and they were nice and easy to remove; I just peeled them off and went over the nail with a cott[...]

Boots No7 Beautiful Skin BB Cream

In January, Boots No7 will be adding some fabulous products to both their skincare and make-up lines.  I wrote about the items I'm most looking forward to the arrival of here and I luckily got the opportunity to try their new BB Cream in Fair.  There are two colour options available: Fair and Medium. Very lightly blended. I have skin that is quite difficult to please as it's severely combination, so products for oily skin are usually too dry[...]

NCLA Nail Couture LA Nail Wraps

As part of my NY resolutions, I decided to try and make more effort with my nails as I read so many amazing posts about the fantastically creative things people do with their nails that I thought it'd be fun to get in on that.  However, the significant flaw in my plan is that I seriously cannot paint my own nails for love nor money. I don't know why, but I'm just inept in the art of nail painting and this was proved in my first real attempt at an '[...]
