Oh how I love a good make-up brush, so when presented with a full set of them I can be kept entertained for quite some time. The Nanshy Masterful Collection is a great set of 12 essential make-up brushes covering all the main brushes you’d need, making this a great starter set for anyone who’s been looking for a decent set to invest in (without spending a fortune) as well as a perfect add-on kit for anyone who loves their brushes.
The Nanshy Masterful Collection is available in two handle finishes – Pearlescent White or Onyx Black – and I went for Onyx Black as I prefer black handled brushes and these from Nanshy happily hold-up against their more expensive counterparts from Mac and Japonesque. Nanshy brushes are antibacterial but most importantly they’re also completely vegan so all the elements are free from animal products.

The lip brush comes with a metal lid for travel and all brush handles are marked with their purpose. I had a whale of a time doing some eye looks with these brushes as they make blending, defining and contouring the eye so fantastically easy! The handles are sturdy and easy to hold, whilst all the brush heads are extremely soft and brilliantly effective.
If I had to complain, I’d say it’s a shame the set doesn’t come with some sort of pouch for storage as I’ve found I’ve had to keep the brushes in the box which is a bit awkward, but they are so well priced that I don’t think anyone would resent spending an extra couple of quid on a pencil case to store them – just keep that in mind when buying.
