Bobbi Brown Hot Collection Sheer Lip Colors

Now we come to my favourites from the Bobbi Brown Hot Collection, which are the Sheer Lip Colors.  I mentioned in my intro post here that I hadn’t tried any of the existing Bobbi Brown Sheer Lip Colors which is very strange considering just how much I love both Bobbi Brown and balmy lip products, but there you go!  In all the pictures it’s from left to right, Pink, Orange and Berry.

As expected, the three shades from the Hot Collection are just dreamy and these are easily my favourite new arrivals for quite some time.  There are three new shades – Pink, Orange and Berry – and they each provide a surprisingly strong pop of colour in a wonderfully hydrating formula.  The great thing about the Sheer Lip Colors is that they are very buildable, so if you want a hint of a tint, just apply a quick swipe, but if you want more colour payoff then you can easily build on the colour.

I honestly cannot decide which is my favourite of the three, as they’re all such brilliant, strong pops of colour that make me long for sunnier weather.  I think Pink is probably the most everyday shade, but Berry works really well for creating a polished look when you can’t handle applying a full face of make-up.  Having said that, Orange is probably the most wearable orange shade I’ve come across in a while, so it’s very hard to choose and I’m very happy to have all three!

The Sheer Lip Colors from the Bobbi Brown Hot Collection provide you with everything you need from a lip product; decent, buildable colour saturation with a balmy, hydrating texture in a great selection of bright yet wearable shades.  I know the Cheek Palettes (check out my review and swatches of the Pink shade here – I’m also wearing it in all the above pictures) are limited edition but I think the new shades are add-ons; I very much hope so as they are just lovely.  You can find them online here – link – or in store from Friday for £19.50 each.
