Now we come to my final post with Cosme-de.com on my series of cushion foundation reviews, and this one contains a competition too! I won’t go into too much detail regarding cushion foundations other than to say that they basically provide all the benefits of a liquid foundation a compact form. The Laneige Pore Control BB Cushion Foundation is probably my least favourite of the three, although it’s fair to say it still leaves the current ones widely available in the UK standing. It comes beautifully presented in a fun compact that’s a little different to the more traditional mirror/chrome style casings that the others all seem to come in. It also comes with a refill which is fab.
As it’s a BB product in the traditional sense, the foundation itself comes with a multitude of claims, a lot of which focus on pore coverage and control. It also contains a mega SPF50 which seems to be the case with most of the Asian base products I’ve tried, I wish that was more common over here!
Interestingly, for a product that claims to be matte, I’d say this gives quite a dewy finish. It has a light, but buildable to medium, coverage and I think this one comes in more shade choices that the others – the shade I’m wearing in the pictures is True Beige which is another great fit for me, if possibly slightly too pale…a very rare occurrence!

Really great review! I am also super pale and thinking of trying this too. After a while did it ever oxidize and become darker?
So sorry for the delay Trinity! I didn’t find it oxidized at all so hopefully you won’t find that to be a problem for you. The great thing about bases from Asian brands is that they’re aimed at pretty pale complexions, so it’s great for us paleys!
