Boots Christmas Launches Part One (No7 and Fearne Cotton)

Today I attended the Christmas press event for Boots which allowed me a sneak peek at what will be available for the party season.  There are some fantastic product launches to get very excited about – mainly from No7 and 17 – but as there’s soooo much to discuss I’ve decided to break it all down into parts.

I’ll start with some of the new launches from No7 which have an Art Deco, 20’s theme.  Both the packaging and the products are absolutely gorgeous and the line includes 2 lipsticks, 1 eye palette, 2 nail varnishes and 1 shimmer powder.  I forgot to grab the press release for the line before I left, so I’m unsure of the exact shade names and prices, but as soon as I know I’ll update the post.

The thing I’m most excited about is the palette which contains four seriously appealing shades:

Next is the shimmer powder which is loose and comes in a wonderfully dinky box:

Then we have the two lipsticks, both of which are strongly pigmented:

Lastly, two nails varnishes complete the line.  The first is a muted blue/gun metal grey with a gentle shimmer and the second is a mixed glitter polish that contains both fine granules and hexagonal chunks of light, burnished pink.

Next I had the opportunity to have a quick chat with Fearne Cotton.  I know everyone says this when they meet celebs, but she was much, MUCH prettier in person than she appears on TV.

We had a chat about her love for make-up (which started due to her mum’s obsession with everything beauty) and how the packaging of her products reflected her unique style.  Here are some of the gifts that will be available in September:

If I were to pick one product from the ones mentioned above that I’m most excited about, it would be the No7 palette as all the colours are right up my street.  Roll on Christmas!
