Bespoke Facial with Antonia Burrell

A couple of weeks ago I visited infamous facialist Antonia Burrell to find out more about her line of Pure Plant Therapy products whilst indulging in a little treatment myself.  Antonia is based at the Urban Bliss salon on Portobello Road which makes for an extremely convenient location as parking is plentiful and Ladbroke Grove station is a short walk a way – I feel the need to point this out as there’s nothing more stressful than struggling to find a salon where you’ve booked some pampering – not the most relaxing start!

The Bespoke Facial with Antonia Burrell is exactly as it sounds; Antonia assesses your skin and decides your facial depending on your skin type.  Obviously with the stress of everything that’s happened over the last few weeks (and the fact that my op was a couple of days after my treatment) my skin was insane, so Antonia devised a treatment that would treat spots, hydrate and generally brighten and lift my poor suffering skin.  One product she did use that I will hopefully be reviewing in more detail soon is her newest launch, which is the Mask Supreme 7in1, which is what I tend to refer to as a “power mask” as it provides a whole host of benefits such as hydrating, smoothing, clarifying and illuminating in one product.  After the facial my skin felt and looked smoother and calmer with the most noticeable difference being my hydration levels – my skin has been horribly dry feeling lately but this was quickly corrected.  Antonia offers of a host of facial treatments alongside her Bespoke Facial with prices starting at £120 for a 60 minute treatment – for more info head here – link – and to check out her product line head here – link.
