So! Having announced in January of this year that I’d keep a monthly log of five things I love, turns out, didn’t happen. So it’s fair to say that as and when there are five things I love I’ll list them here and let you know. Hopefully on a monthly basis…..
1. Maybelline Colossal Cat Eyes
I ranted and raved about this baby in my review here and so it only makes sense that it features in this list. It keeps it’s promise giving you flared outer lashes and really is a brilliant mascara.
2. Sanctuary Therapist Facial Oil
This is a regular feature in my skincare and I use it whenever my skin is feeling dehydrated or lacking glow. It’s a fantastic glow-booster that doesn’t give you spots. It’s also a brilliant finish to any facial and great if you’re tackling spot-prone skin and are using treatments that are a little on the harsh side; this will replace any of moisture lost.
3. Givenchy Prism Again! Blush in shade Smiling Brown
I’m normally all about the pink when it comes to blush shades, but I treated myself to a Givenchy Palette before I went on holiday (with the justification that a palette would save me loads of luggage room as it would replace my usual make-up, obviously this didn’t happen and I took all my make-up and the palette) and in this palette was their Prism blush in this shade. I would never normally consider a browny beige blush, but this worked beautifully with my tanned skin, resulting in a healthy glow that didn’t detract from my tan.
4. Max Factor Xperience Sheer Gloss Balm in 02 Coral
As mentioned in my Holiday Must Have list here, this beautiful balm is so versatile; taking me from barely there natural day looks to more glamourous night looks and is not only a gorgeous shade but nourishing and kind to the lips. This is currently my most favoured lip colour and I’m still wearing it daily.
5. Neutrogena Hydrating Cleansing Wipes
Since I’ve started using my Nutra Sonic brush for cleansing, I wanted to find an easy way to remove make-up before starting the proper cleansing with the brush, rather than having to go through a whole cleansing/eye make-up removal process before using the brush. I figured wipes would be the best way to go and these wipes are so easy and remove waterproof mascara whilst leaving skin soft. I’ve used a lot of wipes where your skin can feel quite stripped afterwards, but that’s not the case with these.
