I’ve mentioned this in a couple of my previous blogs, so I thought it might be a good idea to do a full review on it. Sanctuary Therapist Oil (also known as Therapist’s Secret Facial Oil) is a “Superfood for skin” which works to replenish, hydrate and calm skin. It’s used in Sanctuary Spa facials as the finishing touch so that their clients leave the spa with glowing skin. It’s a really fantastic, multi-use product that appears to be suitable for all skin types; it certainly hasn’t given me spots or made existing spots worse.
I use this in a variety of ways:
The obvious first one being after I’ve given myself a home facial. It’s a really luxurious feeling oil that works great with facial massage. I also use this in my quick pre-bed facial as mentioned here.
This can also be used as an evening moisturiser. If you’re oily or spot-prone then I’d suggest just using this as it’s an excellent hydrator, but if your skin is on the dryer side then you could use this before your nightly moisturiser as an extra burst of rehydration.
I also use this as in the daytime before applying make-up. What’s wonderful about it is that it soaks in very quickly and doesn’t leave a sheen, more of a glow, so it works really well as a base.
Lastly, I’ve been using this as a cuticle oil too as I don’t like having greasy fingers and as mentioned, it soaks in quickly.
It comes in a sturdy glass bottle with a pipette for dispensing the product. It’s not cheap, retailing at around £18, but it will last (even if you use it as excessively as I do) and for me, it’s a great investment.
never tried a facial oil before, but this one looks quite nice!
It really is fantastic, especially if you’ve never tried an oil before then this is a really great one to start with as it’s sooo lovely and not too oily, if that makes sense!
Hi there! I could have sworn I’ve been to this website ahead of but following searching by means of a number of the publish I recognized it is new to me. Anyways, I’m certainly delighted I discovered it and I’ll be book-marking and checking again regularly!
