Tis the season to be swooning and I shall mostly be lusting after the various palettes that Bobbi Brown has released in time for Christmas. It’s safe to say, I don’t need any of them. However, I have already started dropping blatant hints to those who I expect/demand gifts from because I really, really want them.
Bobbi Brown usually brings out one or two lovely palettes in time for the jolly season, but this year she means business, having released ten absolutely gorgeous gift sets including a few wildcards that break away from her usual palette style:
First up there’s the 20th Anniversary Lip Palette which contains a palette of 20 small pans of BB lipsticks including the 10 that she originally launched her range with and 10 absolutely stunning brights. I’m not too fussed about the original 10, mainly because they’re earthy-toned, suits-all naturals which I’m not a fan of, but the brights are just beautiful.

Another of the new additions to Bobbi Brown palette styles is the To-Go collection which includes a classic palette and a party palette. These tiny palettes are cleverly made to contain 3 eyeshadows, 2 lip colours and mini lipgloss plus a mirror, yet the whole thing fits together so that it’s not smaller than the average mobile phone. The classic collection contains wearable, everyday colours and the party collection is a little more dressy. They retail at £32 each making them very affordable gifts (did you hear that, boyfriend??).

Last mention goes to my personal favourite which is the Smokey Eye Collection. In this set you get 5 takes on grey eyeshadows of various shimmer levels and shades, a black Long Wear Gel Eyeliner plus a mascara and a couple of brushes. Not cheap at £52 but still a decent value considering what you’re getting for your money. I’m a little bit obsessed with grey eyes at the moment so I’m really rather fond of the look of this palette.
There are also 6 other palettes available which mainly consist of eyeshadow focussed palettes and the usual BB Christmas gifts, all of which are definitely worth a peek at if you’re a BB fan like me.
