Here is a picture of me and my cat. I’m not uploading it because I’m one of those weirdos who likes the idea of others gushing at the ridiculousness of just how cute my cat actually is (I am one of those weirdos but that is not the purpose of this post), I’m uploading to give you a sneak-peek of how my skin is doing so far.
This is also a really good picture to see as it demonstrates how skin looks the day after a ReAura treatment. As you can see, it doesn’t look dry at all, but that completely conflicts with how it feels as even today it still feels really dry (a fellow ReAura user mentioned she’d gone at her skin with a sonic brush; I’m in two minds as to whether I should or not) but what’s important is that it’s not aesthetically obvious. So this is how it looks when it’s feeling it’s worst, yet when the dryness subsides it looks even better.
Also…..cute cat, right?
Hi again,
Very cute cat! I just got to this post too and totally agree about thre dryness. It feels weird to touch but doesn’t feel tight or show at all. Just to emphasise, I wouldn’t use my Clarisonic until the next day after treatment. I’m sure you got this though!
Great tips re creams. Oils seem to help with the dryness too don’t they.
Have you ever tried Bioeffect EGF serum? You get it from Boots. I’ve been using this too overnight in between treatments. It’s very odd, you just use four drops so have to be restrained! But it’s incredibly nourishing. Very expensive though. Check out the reviews on the internet and Boots’ website.

Hi Ella,
I haven’t tried the EGF serum but I’ll definitely look into it, thanks! I am a huuuuge fan of oils, whether I have dry skin or not, there’s just something about applying them that feels immensely nourishing.
I’m hoping you’re going to check back on these comments as I really need to ask you something so if you have a moment, would you mind mailing me at: geek@beautygeekuk.com please? xx
Hi Grace,
Thanks very much! I’m really pleased you can see the difference and thanks for the lovely comment. I am so pleased with the results so far and can’t wait to look at the before pictures at the end of the treatment plan. Thanks again 🙂 xx
