I haven’t been keeping an eye on the group-buying deals lately, mainly because I haven’t had a chance. However, I had a look through the main contenders offerings last night, and here’s a few picks that I hope will be of relevance to my readers:
Samina Pure Make-Up Set
This is a mineral kit on a deal for £39 including P+P which allegedly normally retails for £128.95. The kit contains, among other things, a mineral foundation and setting powder plus a kabuki brush. According to the Samina site here, the foundation alone retails for £21 and the setting powder for £19.50. In the kit you’re getting both products as well as a brush, blush, lipgloss and eyeshadow so on first look it appears to be a fairly decent deal. I’ve not heard of Samina, but I don’t like to write off brands just because I’m unfamiliar with them as I’m guessing most brands were, at one stage, barely known, so all in all I’d say this looks like quite a nice deal. The samina site can be found here.
Estee Lauder Chic to Cheek Tone Correcting Powder
The Perfume Company are offering this powder for £12.99 including P+P instead of it’s RRP of £32. Sometimes I get the feeling that companies put their less popular products on these sites to get rid of them, but that could just be my cynical side coming out and this could be the company trying to spread awareness with one of their better products….who knows?! This is certainly a product that I’d find of interest – I like the idea of a tone correcting powder – but the fact that it’s shimmery doesn’t appeal; however, that’s just a personal preference. It looks like a decent deal to me so I thought worth mentioning.
£40 Argan Oil Voucher
Another KGB deal, for £15 you get £40 to spend on Argan Oil products from Narson Skin (who can be found here) and P+P is included, which I prefer as I hate deals that suggest you’re saving a load of cash, then tell you that you’ll need to pay some extortionate postage costs. Again, this isn’t a brand I’m familiar with and they do only seem to have a limited amount of products available, but I am most definitely familiar with Argan Oil and all the good things it can do, so I’m thinking that anyone who is unfamiliar with Argan Oil could make use of this deal.
