Firstly, welcome to my new blog design! I really hope you like it as I absolutely love it 🙂Â
There was a recent BuyaPowa deal for the OPI Holland Collection of Dutch Treats which I happily purchased due to my ever-growing obsession with all things OPI. Â The collection of 4 mini (3.75ml) varnishes includes:
- Kiss Me on My Tulips: Â a seriously bright fuschia pink that’s bright without being neon. Â
- Red Lights Ahead..Where?: Â A strong orangey red with a glossy finish. Â I fear it looks more orange in the pictures than it actually does in reality as it’s much more of an orange tinged red, in my opinion.
- I Have a Herring Problem: Â a muted grey tinged blue with a gentle silvery sparkle.
- Pedal Faster Suzi!: A very gentle pink with an ever-so-slight lavender tinge and light pink and silver sparkle. Â

This set has thankfully cured my fear of minis as I was concerned that the tiny brush would make application a chore, but that’s not the case, which means I’ll definitely be trying out OPI minis from now on. Â

Apologies for the state of my nails and cuticles; I’m well overdue for a manicure which I was supposed to do today, but I’ve chosen a day in PJs instead 🙂Â

The non-glitter shades were pretty much opaque after the first application, but the glittery shades would benefit from 3 coats to get a really clean finish. Â

It may sound like a cliché, but I really do love all these shades! I love the sophistication of I Have a Herring Problem, the fun, summery-ness of Red Lights Ahead..Where?, the intense, creamy pigment of Kiss Me on My Tulips and the sweet, girliness of Pedal Faster Suzi!. Â

If I really had to choose a favourite, it’s probably Pedal Faster Suzi! But that’s purely due to my love for all things girly and pink. Â I’m absolutely thrilled with this collection and highly recommend it to all.

They’re gorgeous aren’t they? I’m now not only obsessed with OPI in general, but also their special edition sets as they introduce me to colours I might not normally consider xx

They’re all so pretty! I really do think that OPI are the market leaders, both with their incredible colour selection and their formula as it’s sooo easy to work with xx
