Another week, another amazing product release from Elemis, the Pro-Radiance Illuminating Flash Balm*. Correct me if I’m wrong, but I think this is Elemis’ first venture into something a little less skincare and a little more cosmetic and it’s made for a fantastic starting point. The Elemis Pro-Radiance Illuminating Flash Balm is formulated as a “hybrid moisturiser” which acts as a radiance booster, a primer and a light moisturiser too. It’s definitely not moisturising enough for me at the moment with my crazy, hormonal skin, but I’d say those with normal to oily skins wouldn’t need more than this as a morning moisturiser. If you’re dry or combination then you’ll need a bit more help, but this is still an amazingly effective radiance creator and primer.
It’s managed to get the balance just right as it gives skin a beautiful, dewy glow that looks natural and thankfully is shimmer-free. I was really surprised when I applied it as to just how well it worked; it gives that soft, glowy look that we all want from our skin but few us of can rarely achieve naturally! Make-up applied more smoothly, but it’s too difficult for me to tell if it helped with longevity as my skin is mental at the moment which equates to a dry, flaky mess; therefore not the best for analysing the effectiveness of primers! One thing worth mentioning is the fragrance which is extremely strong. I personally love it – it’s unique, pretty and decadent – but for a product for facial skin, a few might find it off-putting. I’m really excited by this newest arrival from Elemis and I’m hoping it’s the start of things to come; a similar product for the eye area would be amazing! Elemis Pro-Radiance Illuminating Flash Balm will be available from May 2013 for £32 for 50ml.
This sounds really good!
Please check out and follow my blog! I’d really appreciate it! <3

Hiya
Would like to try that. I’m in just my third trimester if pregnancy. Any idea if this is safe to use ? .
Great review! Yes I did a thorough comparison with Clarins and Embryolisse as well. I think all three are great, but for different reasons…http://williamspromakeup.blogspot.co.uk/2013/07/battle-of-balms-clarins-beauty-flash.html
