I have no idea what happened with Cargo Cosmetics, as I remember their arrival the first time around – in fact I was one of the desperados who pre-ordered their lash growth boosting mascara which at the time was extremely new to the market – and I remember watching them slowly arrive into Boots with a few new products here and there. Then suddenly they were marked down and moved to the less popular end of the store, before they disappeared completely, although not before I took advantage of their knocked-down prices…
I have a bit of a fondness for Cargo as they were really nice to me when I won a competition with them; this was well before I was blogging and it was so exciting to interact with the brand and feel valued. Therefore I was really pleased to hear that they were making a comeback to the UK market, and comeback they have! I was lucky enough to be sent a few items to mark their comeback and I have to say that the Water Resistant Blush is something to dream about. There are three shades available and Los Cabos is in the pictures. The other two shades are Bali (think Mac’s Mocha with more pink) and Ibiza which I keep looking at online and sighing. It’s a blue-leaning pop of pink that I just KNOW will lift my sallow complexion and give that healthy glow I’ve always dreamed of, so if you’re pale like me then check it out. Cargo are now available in various retailers including BeautyBay. There are some seriously awesome products to perve at – for example, the Contour Palettes look a bit gawjus, so when you have a moment, definitely check them out!
