We all love a bit of Benefit, but I don’t think any new release from the cult Californian brand gets as much excitement as a new cheek powder. Certainly their Dandelion is every pale girl’s dream come true, and Hoola is one of my ultimate bronzing friends as it’s completely matte, yet it avoids that grubby look that often comes with matte bronzing powders.
News arrived today that there’s a new Benefit Cheek Powder in town that goes by the name of Rockateur and it sounds *amazing*, I seriously cannot wait to get my hands on it. It’s described as a “rockin’ rose g0ld” with a soft sheen finish and a gold overspray. I’m a sucker for anything that falls even loosely into the colour category of rose gold, so I couldn’t be happier about this new arrival. I’m a little nervous about the “soft sheen” as to me that says shimmer, but I’m hoping it’ll be Mac MSF shimmer rather than anything too glittery. I have high hopes for Benefit Rockateur which arrives in September and will be priced at £23.50.

It looks gorgeous alright but have you noticed the severe lack of product? It has dropped to just 5g from some of the boxes having 12g and 8g. Makes it pretty expensive.
