At the end of this month, a mega collection of metallics launch exclusively at Harvey Nichols and there is bound to be something to keep everyone happy in the vast and impressive Estee Lauder Pure Colour The Metallics. I love, love, love metallics in the summer; I just think they’re the perfect finish to work poolside as they’re easy to apply, blend down like a dream and also give that glossy, shimmery finish that works so well with a light bit of colour and a full sun.
The Eyeshadow Trios are available in nine new variants, and these are:
Smoked Chrome, Arctic Zinc, Steel Lilacs, Platinum Petals, Gilded Chocolates, Amber Alloy, Beach Metals, Sterling Plums and Camo Chrome. These will be priced at £27 each.
There are 12 new High Intensity Lip Lacquers and these are:
Peach Glass, Mirrored Mauve, Chrome Kimono, Ruby Glow, Vinyl Rose, Melting Sun, Hot Cherry, Fuschia Flash, Liquid Petal, Electric Wine, Wet Plum and Amber Halo. These will be £21 each.
The Eyeshadow Trios and Lip Lacquers will be part of the permanent collection. There are also some limited edition Vivid Shine Lipsticks (Burnished Bronze, Glow Fuchsia, Hot Lava, Gilded Honey, Coral Halo, Mirrored Orchid) for £20 each and Vivid Shine Nail Lacquers (Rose Gold, Midnight Metal, Chocolate Foil, Smoked Chrome, Steel Orchid, Brushed Gold, Chrome Violet, Metallic Green) for £.14.50.
As you can see, it’s a mega collection of beautiful colours and takes on the metallic theme that’s so wonderfully summery yet isn’t the stale old pastels and brights that appear every summer. Having said that, I’m a little bit in love with the concept of the metallic purples and lilacs in the Steel Lilacs trio…The entire collection launches exclusively at Harvey Nichols on the 29th July 2013.
