Glo Minerals Lipstick in Bali

July 30, 2013 · In: Make-Up, Reviews

Glo Minerals Lipstick

I think every make-up addict needs a selection of shades that they know they can turn to to add a bit of something to their daily make-up when needed, and this should always include the perfect, wearable and ultimately flattering red lipstick.  If you’re still on the hunt for your perfect shade, let me present to you Glo Minerals Lipstick in Bali.

Glo Minerals Lipstick in Bali Swatch

Bali is a true cherry red with some gentle blue undertones that will whiten your teeth and brighten your complexion, especially if you’re pale.  Formula wise it leans creamy, meaning it’s very easy to apply – no faff with a lipbrush needed – and is forgiving to less-than-perfect lips.  For a creamy finish it also lasts surprisingly well, and for such a strong shade it fades evenly and you’re not left with a strong red lip line which is something I find really common with bright red shades.  It’s definitely a winner for me, and if you’re someone who wants the high maintenance look without having to actually put in the work, this is a great choice for you.  There are also 20 other shades available in this formula, including some very pretty pink shades – it would be wrong to expect me to look at lipstick swatches and not check out the pinks! Here’s where you’ll find the Glo Minerals Lipstick for £15.

Glo Minerals Lipstick in Bali

I’ve been trying out a few Glo Minerals products, so if you’re unfamiliar with the brand then I recommend the Face Primer –  where you only need the tiniest amount and it preps skin beautifully – and the Moist Hydration Mist which does as it says on the tin by adding moisture to parched skin, but it’s also really handy if you use mineral make-up or overdo it with setting powder as it gives a dewy finish without the oiliness.
