New Additions to Sainsbury’s Beauty: Skin Therapy and Aroma Actives

August 8, 2013 · In: First Look, Skincare

Sainsbury's Beauty

You may recall a post I wrote a little while ago regarding the new arrival of make-up brand Boutique, which lands in Sainsbury’s later this year.  I think most beauty bloggers tend to get more carried away with the visual excitement of a make-up brand when it comes to new launches, as we’re a fickle bunch, and all that colour, texture and immediate payoff gets us all excited!  However, there are actually three brands worth discussing, all of which will be launching into the beauty aisles of Sainsbury’s later this year.

Skin Therapy

Skin Therapy are a small range of carefully developed skincare products, designed to simplify the process of shopping for and selecting skincare.  There are some hardcore formulators behind this range who have worked for some of the best skincare companies in the world (sorry to be vague but I can’t be specific unfortunately!) so trust me when I say that this is a range to watch.  The line arrives with two collections, Skin Therapy Effective and Skin Therapy Sensitive, the former of which contains six new products, and the latter has five with prices ranging from £3 for facial wipes to £14.99 for day and night creams.  This line launches next month.

Aroma Actives

Aroma Actives

Aroma Actives is the next one to get excited about, the reason being that it’s created by aromatherapy guru, Geraldine Howard.  You might not recognise her name, but you’ll certainly recognise her brand which is Aromatherapy Associates.  I have a feeling this range is going to be extremely popular; not just because of the name behind it, but because the actual products are wonderfully put together with pretty packaging, appealing names and reasonable price tags.  I’m especially excited about the range of masks which include a Deep Cleansing and Purifying Clay Mask for £8.  There’s also a good selection of cleansers and toners priced from £7 – £9, moisturisers from £14 – £18 and what I expect to be the breakthrough product, the Omega Rich Face Oil, for £16.    This lovely line arrives in October 2013.

As you can see, these two paired with Boutique make for some exciting releases coming to Sainsbury’s this year, and I for one can’t wait to see what else is coming to their beauty aisles.
