Nails Inc launched initial images of the Monogram Manicure a while back, and whilst I liked the look of it, I wasn’t hugely excited, and therefore didn’t anticipate just how much I’d love it on the nails. It’s worth pointing out that in the manicure picture above, I’ve only got the letters from the kit being used and NOT the shades that are included. The colour above is actually Bond Street from the new Gel Effect polishes which I’ll tell you more about in another post.
The Nails Inc Monogram Manicure is available either as an add-on to instore Nails Inc manicures for £6, or as a standalone kit that you can do yourself for £20. I think that’s extremely good value as you get quite a bit for your buck: minis of Southbank (grey) and Mayfair Place (plum) plus a mini Kensington Caviar Topcoat, 4 sheets of the letters (2 black and 2 white) and an orange stick to help you apply the letters. I would say, if you’re really creative, you could probably get three monogram manicures out of the kit as well as some additional manis from the remaining varnishes, so £20 really is a bargain if you ask me!
You’d need to put a bit of time aside for this as you’ll definitely want to make sure your nails are completely dry before you start applying the letters. You also need to keep in mind that it’s pretty tricky to get a perfect finish as the letters may look a little bumpy once applied, but it thankfully doesn’t detract from the overall finish and effect. I really, really love this Monogram Manicure as I just think it’s so cute and fun; the fact that you can completely personalise your nails relatively quickly and easily makes this quite accessible nail art, so I can see this being very popular! The Nails Inc Monogram Manicure is available now both instore and online.

I love the look of it, but have to say that it would probably turn out a total disaster if I tried to use it!
