Jurlique are one of those lovely brands that I think would appeal to most beauty lovers, since their products are formulated to indulge the senses as well as effectively treat, whilst still staying gentle, feminine and pretty to look at; so what’s not to love? The Jurlique Fruit Enzyme Exfoliator is pretty much self-explanatory; it’s a chemical exfoliator that uses fruit-based enzymes to gently melt and lift dead skin cells to reveal the brighter skin underneath. This is a lovely smelling product that is extremely gentle, and even though it’s not recommended for sensitive skins, I’d say that they’d probably be okay, but do patch test first to be on the safe side.
The product itself is thin and gel like, which you apply after cleaning and leave for up to five minutes to do its thing. As usual, I stuck mine on and left it for half an hour and I’m pleased to report that there were no adverse effects from doing this. On application, there’s the gentlest of tingles before it settles down, but I didn’t suffer any redness or signs of peeling, I was just left with smoother, brighter skin and thankfully this didn’t aggravate my spots either. If you like your exfoliators naturally formulated and fuss-free, I highly recommend checking out the Jurlique Fruit Enzyme Exfoliator. At £34 for 50ml it isn’t exactly cheap, but you don’t need a lot for each use and it is awfully pretty…
