As promised, here’s a NOTD featuring Boots No7 Pink Blossom from their newly launched Spring collection, more of which you can read about in my intro post here.
Pink Blossom is a lovely shade of pink that stays on the safe side of baby pink, so it isn’t too girly or sweet, rather it’s a happy medium between baby pink and rose pink. It’s a very easy to wear shade as it’s quite muted and almost leans a little nude in certain lights.
I’d describe it as a grown-up and sophisticated pink, even though it’s very pretty, because of the hints of rosiness. It’s definitely not one I can dupe in my existing collection as it’s too warm and mid-pink; most of the pinks in my collection are either brights or baby pinks.
I used a base coat (Nails Inc), 2 coats of polish and a top coat (Seche Vite). As you can see, my manicure skills are a tad lacking, but I’m having to ‘panic paint’ my nails whilst Teddy is asleep, so it could be a lot worse! The wear is fairly good and I’d say it was 3-4 days before a bit of tip wear started to show. Pink Blossom is available now for £6 from Boots, both instore and online – link. There’s currently a 3for2 running so now is a good time to get spending!

I totally agree and it’s really an ideal shade for Spring as it’s the perfect pink that isn’t too bright xx
