I’ve mentioned Latest in Beauty quite a few times in recent months due to their seriously awesome beauty boxes that are not only extremely purse-friendly, but also packed full of goodies that are highly covetable and the boxes rarely contain filler products, making them brilliant beauty investments for bloggers and beauty-lovers alike. I was sent the Glamour Beauty Edit – the box that’s edited by Glamour Beauty Editor, Alessandra Steinherr – so here’s a closer look at what’s included in order of my favourites:
Invisibobble x3
I seem to have amassed quite a few of these of late, and they’re certainly proving to be very useful. They’re hair bands designed to leave your hair kink-free, but they’re also great to use straight after a hair wash when you want to gently tie your hair back. I go through hundreds of hair bands a year as I lose them all the time, but for some reason I don’t lose these, plus they’re comfortable to sleep in, so they’re all round handy products if you like to tie your hair back and they retail at £3.75 for a box of 3.
L’Oreal Miss Manga Mascara
This has received quite mixed reviews but I actually like it as it gives a subtly plumped up effect to lashes without being too OTT. You can build it up to massive, cartoon-style lashes, but for everyday wear it’s also fab; not amazing, but definitely one I’ve reached for quite a few times. It’s £8.99.
Cheeky Chat Me Up Nail Paint in Tongue ‘n’ Cheek
This is a gloriously summery shade of a pinky red coral that is going on my nails very soon, so expect a NOTD! I like the fact that the majority of the items in this box are summer themed, and nothing exemplifies that more accurately than this shade of polish, which normally costs £7.
Rituals Rice Milk and Cherry Blossom Foaming Shower Gel
I spent months obsessing over their Bed and Body Mists, so it’s safe to say I love Rituals and I especially love their shower foams, so I was very happy to see this included in the box. It’s dinky size (50ml) makes it perfect for holidays too and it’s a wonderfully scented as it sounds. Full size this costs £8.50.
Daniel Sandler Long-Lasting Waterproof Eyeliner in Aqua
Daniel Sandler is another brand I’m a big fan of, and this turquoise shade of the Long-Lasting Waterproof Eyeliner was created especially for this box, but the reason it falls so low down on my list is because I’m not sure it’s a shade I can pull off…but that doesn’t mean I won’t be giving it a go so I’ll let you know how I get on! There are some really lovely other shades of this liner (have a look here – link – I’ve got my eye on Purple, Grey and Brown) and full price this is £9.25.
Percy & Reed Abundantly Bouncy Volumising Hair Mousse
Weirdly, I was on the hunt for a volumising mousse just before this box arrived, so the timing was spot-on. I haven’t tried this yet – mainly because I keep forgetting as I’ve only recently got back into hair styling – but I have high hopes for this as it sounds like the sort of product that I need in my life so I hope it delivers. 50ml was included in the box and full sized it would cost £12.
Burt’s Bees Lip Balm
The sole reason this lip balm from a brand I really dig has fallen to the bottom of my favourites list is because it’s peppermint flavoured and I really struggle with anything mint flavoured (apart from mints, strangely) ever since my pregnancy, so whilst I’ve used this a couple of times and it is an awesome balm, I can’t get myself past the peppermint flavour. Bleurgh. This is £3.69.
As you can see, it’s a fantastic collection of products that I can’t imagine many would be disappointed with, especially considering it costs £14.95 and P&P is free; that works out at just over £2 a product which is ridiculously good value, I’m sure you agree. Head here – link – to buy and keep your eye on the LiB site as they’re constantly releasing gorgeous new collections.

I bought this box when they had the free Stila Lip Glaze promotion on, and I was so glad I purchased it. Great Quality items at such a great price.
Also, when I was pregnant, all mint products made me sick.. Had to change toothpaste to tooth powder/tooth tabs just to brush my teeth. Still have a mild effect on me too.

Thankfully I was just about okay with toothpaste but the general scent still freaks me out! xx
I ordered this box today! Would you recommend the Editor’s Picks Box that’s on their website just now?
The thing I love about LiB boxes is that you literally get what you see, so if the contents of the Editor’s Picks Box appeal to you then I’d say go for it! Fingers crossed you get the clear Invisibobbles as they’re my favourite xx
I’m also really curious about what colour of Invisibobbles I will get!
