The beautifully presented and wonderfully fresh and floral Jo Malone Silk Blossom is one of those scents that will happily see you through the Spring and Summer months. The fragrance is gentle and easy to wear that really encapsulates a summery scent; it’s inspired by the pink fringed pompoms of Silk Blossom (hence the tassel attachment to the bottle) and the notes are simply white pepper at the top, silk blossom at the centre and moss at the base.
There’s no escaping the fact that this scent is extremely girly; the pink tassels give the bottle an almost vintage feel that really works in harmony with the scent itself. If you were a fan of the brand’s Peony & Blush Suede (my review here) then you’ll like this too due to it’s dominant floral elements, but I’d say this is a fresher, cleaner scent, probably due the lack of earthing from the Blush Suede.
Jo Malone London Silk Blossom can be paired with Orange Blossom to create a brighter fragrance or Red Roses to fully embrace the floral notes.
