There is something for everyone in the upcoming Bourjois summer releases for 2014, and it’s an extremely summery selection of beauty bits and bobs. All of the newbies are add-ons to existing lines, so if you have a favourite Bourjois product then keep your eyes peeled as there might be a new shade to try. I’ll be sharing further posts on my favourites, but for now here’s a quick overview of what’s coming up:
There are five new shades of the Contour Clubbing Waterproof Pencil, two of which I can pretty much guarantee I’m going to want to have a play with. The new shades are Ultra Black, Up and Brown, Pink About You, Dynamint and Taupe of the Top, the latter of which appears to be the most beautiful sage shade that I want in my life! I’m also a bit obsessed with the colour of Pink About You, but I sadly don’t think I could pull it off. These are available now for £4.99 a pop here – link.
There are two new shades of the extremely popular Cream Blush, both of which fall are ideal for achieving that sun-kissed hint rather than pop of colour that works soooo well on balmy days. The two new shades are Pink Sunwear which is a pink leaning bronze and Tropical Coral which is a warm, muted coral. I’ll be giving these a go but I’m not sure whether they’re my bag; we’ll have to see! These are available now for £7.99 each here – link.
Next are my personal favourites from the new launches which are the two new shades of the Rouge Edition Velvet, bringing the total shade range up to eight. The two new shades are both stunners; there’s Nude-ist which is a pinky nude and Grand Cru, a deep, sultry red with pink undertones. I can’t decide which I love more! These are £8.99 here – link.
There’s a new shade being added to the Liner Feutre Eyeliner range which, if you haven’t tried, is an extremely good line of felt-tip liners that are so incredibly easy to use and come with solid pigmentation too. The new shades is Gold Shine which has a metallic finish that’ll really suit paler eye colours, although I’d recommend tight-lining or building up mascara so the shade doesn’t wash you out. This is here – link – for £6.99.
Having worked my way through the new Bourjois releases, I’m reminded of just how lovely, well-priced and effective their products are; most of which can easily rival more luxurious brands. There’s a lot to lust over this summer, none of which is going to cost you a fortune, so it’s all-in-all a lovely summer collection.
