Color Wow Brass Banned Mousses

July 3, 2014 · In: Hair Care

Brass Banned Mousse with Foam Both
I had to flag up these mousses from Color Wow (have to keep fighting the urge to type “colour”) as they sound like such fantastic products, plus, most importantly, they’re not just for blonde hair which I often find to be the case with products that contain colour in an effort to counteract colour problems.  I’m sure most of us have seen purple products that balance brassiness in blonde hair – which is the colour of the mousse for blonde hair in this range – but there is also a green mousse in the range which performs a similar task for brunettes.  Hopefully there’ll be something along for the red-heads soon!

Brass Banned Mousse for Blonde Hair
The main purpose of the mousses is to keep coloured hair looking fresh and vibrant, but they also make hair texture more responsive to styling whilst adding flexibility and the alcohol-free formula promises no stiffness or stickiness.  I haven’t tried the products myself, but I have had a play with a couple of members of the Color Wow range and whilst it’s too soon to tell whether they significantly prolong my colour, so far, so good and I’ll keep you posted!

Brass Banned Mousse for Dark Hair (2)

If you have colored coloured hair then this is definitely a range worth checking out; there’s a product for every hair type and need and I was quite surprised by how available the line is; online you can get it at QVC – link – and in-store you can get it at Space NK and various independent chemists.  There’s a rather handy tool on their site that will tell you your nearest stockist here – link. However,  the Color Wow Brass Banned Mousses in either Lavender or Teal cost £16.50 and are currently only available at Victoria Health here – link – and the main Color Wow site here – link.
