Everyone loves a good micellar, don’t they? I certainly do, especially as it’s always the first step in my evening skincare routine; I find it so much easier to just whip off all my make-up with a good micellar before then starting my cleansing process later on…If you include this as one of the cleansers then I technically triple cleanse, but thankfully I’m using products that are very good to my skin, so no oil-stripping is happening on my skin!
The Eucerin Dermatoclean Micellar Cleansing Fluid is a very good micellar that’s an effective cleanser suitable for all skin types. Having said that, I am aware that it’s made some other skins tingle, so it’s worth patch-testing if you have sensitive skin or want to tread carefully. The 3-in-1 element provides cleansing, toning and moisturising. As I said, I use a micellar to remove make-up and I tend to do this as soon as I get in (before the rest of the routine is completed later on in the evening) so I can vouch for the fact that it leaves skin feeling soft and clean without any tightness. Having said that, I would only ever use this on very light make-up days as it isn’t great at make-up removal, especially for eye make-up which took me quite a while to break down with this. In conclusion, it’s a very nice product but it isn’t going to steal any Bioderma fans any time soon. It’s currently on special at Escentual for £7.19 for 200ml here – link.
