I’ll start this post by saying that I don’t tend to do full reviews on eye treatments any more as I always have so much skincare going on at any one time that I don’t think I can give a fair review, so instead I’ll share my thoughts on the product itself rather than the long-term results. I think eye treatments are tricky to review anyway so I like to tread carefully with them to be on the safe side, although it’s fair to assume that if I ever use a product that makes a humongous difference after a few weeks then you will be the first to know!
The Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Eye Serum II is absolutely lovely. It’s a delicate, gentle serum that soaks into skin extremely quickly and leaves a non-greasy but moisturised finish that looks hydrated and smoother. I started using it recently because I’ve been neglecting my eye area, so I thought I’d be wise to introduce something into the routine, and thankfully this fella’ from Estee Lauder has done the job both effectively and beautifully. I believe it’s a new, improved version of the original ANR Eye Serum, but I haven’t got the first incarnation to compare. What I can say is that after a couple of weeks use I’ve noticed my under eye concealer goes on more smoothly and the area looks less dry under make-up, so it’s obviously doing something right! I think if your skin is extremely dry then you’ll need something richer, but for those with normal skin prone to age-typical issues such as fine lines, dark circles and mild dehydration, this is a really lovely choice. It’s £46 for 15ml here – link – which is quite hefty, but one tiny pump covers both eyes so this will definitely last me for quite some time.

I know when we were on cunter we used to mix a little of this (as it covers all bases on clients needs) with the under eye concealer before applying. I loved the first ANR so am interested on how this compares
