I don’t think anyone can dispute that the festive season is now well and truly upon us, so to acknowledge this, the Glossybox December 2014 box has had a festive makeover and it really is very festive!
December 2014 Glossybox is a good mix of products, with 2 skincare, 2 make-up and 1 hair care. However, there is a product that’s already been featured in a previous box so I’m quite surprised to see it again. As always, here’s a look at the contents in order of my favourites:
I’m starting with the Bellapierre Cosmetics Cheek & Lip Stain which is a lovely little jar of a pretty, rosy tint; it’s the perfect colour for adding that ‘wind-blustered’ look to cheeks so I’m looking forward to using this on days when I can’t face a heavy makeup face.
Next up is the Tresemme Renewal Hair and Scalp 60 Second Treatment Shots, of which a pack of 4 is included in the box. I’m not sure my hair or scalp particularly needs renewing, but I like the idea of a little treatment shot for the hair – something quick and easy to use in the shower – and I’m glad a set of 4 was included as it would’ve been very easy to just stick one of these in each box, considering they’re single use.
I loooove the idea of the SkinPep Hydra Boost Pure Hyaluronic Acid Serum, which pretty much tells you all you need to know in the name. I’m a huge fan of Hyaluronic Acid so I welcome anything that contains it into my home.
The Anatomicals Zap! Zap! Zap! Gets that Chap. Day and Night Spot Stick is a double-ended product for treating spots. Even though I have rubbish skin, I don’t tend to use spot treatments at the moment as I’m trying to take a more overall approach to treating them, so this probably won’t get used…we’ll see!
Even though I really like the product, the So Susan Cosmetics Concealer Quad has come in last on my list as it was featured in the June box, just a few months ago, so I’m not sure why it’s been included again. Also, there was a So Susan mascara in the October box, so it’s getting a bit too much like that year when every beauty box seemed to include a Dead Sea Magik product – do you remember that? People got fed up very quickly!
In conclusion the December 2014 Glossybox is a pretty good box, although there have been much better Glossyboxes. For more info on Glossybox, head here – link.

I think or their December box its quite a let down. Its all a little bland. I like the look of the So Susan concealer quad. But I would have liked to see something a little more festive
