Ahhhh hangovers, I remember them fondly from back in the day when I would have a night out, binge drink and regret it terribly the next day. Had I had this mask in my possession during my binge-drinking days then at the very least my skin wouldn’t have given away my naughty escapades.
The Rodial Super Acids X-Treme Hangover Mask is a brightening, exfoliating treat for the skin with most of the focus being on acids and clay. It also claims to hydrate the skin but I wouldn’t say I found it particularly hydrating, quite the opposite in fact as my skin needed a good dose of moisturiser afterwards.
You use this by applying it all over in a thin layer, leaving it for a few minutes then gently rubbing it off before washing off the remaining residue. I was a bit unsure at first as usually when you have to rub a mask off, it’s due to it containing gritty bits that exfoliate which I don’t personally like, but thankfully that isn’t the case with this mas, meaning, if you’re lazy or hungover you can just wipe the lot of with a sponge or flannel which is especially easy considering it doesn’t dry to a typical clay finish. Once removed skin looks impressively brighter, smoother and cleansed making this a great post-party option that I recommend investing in if you’re planning to overdo it during the next few weeks. It’s £45 and I’d guess the tube would last you good 8 uses.
