Memebox Special #33: K-Style 2

December 3, 2014 · In: Beauty Boxes

Ah Memebox, how happy I am when I get a text message informing me you’re on your way and spend a few days wondering what joyful, beauty madness is in store, then I’m rarely disappointed! Memebox is such a wonderfully fun way of finding and trying new products in all categories that sit under the beauty umbrella; I’ve had skincare boxes, mixed boxes and the Memebox Special #33: K-Style 2 is a make-up only box and definitely my favourite to date.

In the box I received six full sized make-up products, some of which were some pretty wacky shades, but all of which I cooed over as soon as I clocked them.  Here’s a closer look at what I received in order of favourites:

I have to start with the base product which is the Original Raw 10 Cushion Foundation as you know how I feel about base products! This is a dinky tube even though it’s full-sized and it’s in a very pale shade, so I’m hoping it’ll match my skin tone perfectly.

The shade of the Eglips Real Colour Lip Lacquer I received is a muted nude shade that works very well as an every day colour.  There are some pretty impressive brights in this range of lacquers so I was a bit disappointed to receive the nude colour, but I actually like it more than I thought I would.

The RiRi Luxe Eyeliner is a very traditional looking eyeliner which I kind of like – it’s sort of “boudoir chic” if you see what I mean.  The brush is nice and skinny and the colour payoff is a solid black.

Now on to the first of the eye products starting with the gorgeously presented Shara Shara Colour Eyes Stick Shadow in Sugar Pink, which looks quite lairy in the tube but it’s actually more of a pink nuance on the skin.  The reason this is quite low on my list is that I tend to avoid any pink eye shades as they can make me look like I’m lacking a lot of sleep, which is currently quite accurate!

Next in the eye products is the Royal Nature Pantone Shadeliner which is again is not a good shade for me as it’s a turquoise colour that’ll look a little clashy again my eye colour…I think.

Last up is the Secret Stargirl lashes which are so low on my list purely and simply because I’m not great with the application of fake lashes and I can’t see myself having the time to get myself reacquainted with application techniques any time soon!

This particular box is now sold out, but there’s a HUGE array of other boxes to check out, so for more info on Memebox, head here – link.  I have another great box to share with you so keep your eyes peeled for that soon.
