I did an extremely good job mooching around in the post-holiday sales, checking out what was what but managing to avoid purchasing anything…right up until I hit the NARS counter.
There I was faced with an acrylic triangle containing some of the loveliest pink products, all of which I could immediately find a use for. Usually, with gift sets, I can talk myself out of them by noting the products I wouldn’t use and discounting the value accordingly, but not this time.
This time, all three of the products were ones I would happily purchase individually, as all three are what I call “grown-up pink”; a pink that leans a little blue and stops short of bubblegum.
The three products included in the set are all in the Roman Holiday shade, so you get Roman Holiday Lipstick, Roman Holiday Blush (mini version and limited edition) and Roman Holiday Nail Polish, which is also limited edition and possibly my favourite of the three, other than the lipstick. And the blush…This beautiful collection is called Modern Future – it’s still available now, albeit I’m guessing quantities are limited, but you can find it here – link – for £30. I got it for £27 when John Lewis were doing one of their 10% off days, making it an even more justifiable purchase! Such gorgeous, gorgeous pinks – expect to see them showing up in more posts soon.

Hi lovely, really pretty set and I love pink. I bought one of their ‘shatter’ palettes last year with eyeshadow, lipgloss and bronzer, they always do fab packages for gifting.
