Okay so I mentioned in my last post that I haven’t done too well with my skincare resolution of keeping things simple and not chopping and changing my routine. However, what I have done well with is treading carefully with what cleansers I’m using and there’s only one foaming one I still use regularly, so that’s something! Shame that wasn’t a NY resolution, eh? Therefore, I’ve been trying out lots of balmy, creamy and/or oily numbers to cleanse my skin without drying it out. Cue the Lusardi My Miracle Caviar Cleanser, which is a rich and creamy hot cloth cleanser.
The Lusardi My Miracle range is a collection of products aimed at older skin types with lots of rich, comforting formulations full of goodies such as caviar extracts and the omegas. It’s a fairly comprehensive range with the Perfect Prime – a moisturiser/mask/primer hybrid – being the latest addition. I felt the range was probably a little too rich for my tricky skin, but I can rarely say no to a rich and moisture-boosting cleanser! The Caviar Cleanser is probably the thickest, most dense hot cloth cleanser I’ve ever used, which makes for a lovely richness when moving it around the face. It isn’t overwhelming and it doesn’t leave a greasy film, but it does do a great job at cleansing – I use it as my second cleanse with the muslin cloth it comes with; I definitely think muslin cloths are improving and the ones you get with this cleanser are definitely some of the better ones I’ve tried as they retain heat and are quite rough, making them ideal for gentle exfoliation. I also love the fact that you get two with the cleanser as I’ve always thought it was a bit silly only giving one with cleaners; what do you do when it’s being washed?! The Lusardi My Miracle Caviar Cleanser with 2 muslin cloths is available for £17.99 here – link.
