Benefit Hoola is one of my all-time favourite powder bronzers as it’s matte, buttery and warm without being too orange, so it gives an extremely natural finish and was the first bronzer I fell really in love with. ‘Tis the season for all things ‘holiday’ and that of course includes warming up the skin and shaking off the ashy, pale tones of Winter, so if you need a little assistance with such a task, the Benefit 5 Piece Do the Hoola Kit is here to help.
In this kit you get everything you need a for a glowing face, other than a foundation and a brow product. Obviously I couldn’t go without base, but for the benefit of this post I went without a brow product and instead just used a foundation followed by everything in this box of goodies and nothing else! Results below…
The box itself is very handily presented as it contains a good sized mirror and fold out tip cards on how to use the enclosed products. The products themselves are arranged by number so you know when to apply what, although obviously you can mix it up and do what you like.
The products included are all minis and you get a Hoola Bronzer and brush, Benebalm – which you can actually use as a blusher too if you’re like me and need a bit of colour in your cheeks, Ultra Plush Lipgloss in Hoola, They’re Real Mascara and the exciting new launch, Dew the Hoola, which is a liquid bronzer that I’ll be posting more about soon.
This is a fantastic kit that screams ‘Summer’ and as all the products are easy, buildable formulas, I don’t think there is such thing as someone who would be too pale for these products. I like the fact that you get both a gloss and a tinted lipbalm which you can mix up depending on your preference, and this is probably one of the most comprehensive travel kits I’ve come across in a while – if you’re going away and desperate to pack light, squeeze out just enough foundation to cover your time away into a travel pot, grab a deep brown pencil to use for brows and eye-lining and this kit, then you’re all set! You can find the Benefit 5 Piece Do the Hoola Kit here – link – for the current introductory price of £23.16, but keep in mind that the price will go up soon.

Ineresting kit. I’ve always thought that Hoola looks a bit of a scary colour, but I see on you it looks very natural whilst still packing a good bronze punch!
I must say also that your skin looks great in this pic by the way!
Thanks so much Kate! I really feel like my skin is the best it’s been in quite a while, so I’m able to wear a lot less coverage FINALLY!
Hoola is the perfect, non-scary bronzer – annoyingly it’s quite hard to beat (annoyingly because it isn’t cheap) xx
