Today I have more for you from the insanely lust-worthy beauty brand, Cosmetics A La Carte. The Brow Ink from the brand I think is one of the most popular products, as it’s certainly the one I’ve heard the most about, and you can see why, since it’s very easy to use yet extremely effective at giving brows depth and definition.
The A La Carte Brow Ink is a felt tip pen with a long and slender tip, which allows for filling in brow gaps when you apply a bit more pressure, or drawing subtle, additional hairs to define and fill out the brow further with a lighter application. It’s available in three shades; Blonde, Taupe and Sable with Taupe being the middle shade that would probably suit most people other than those with very fair or very dark brows. It’s a good match for me and you’ll like it especially if you struggle to find cool-toned brow colours; so many brow products lean horrendously warm so you end up with red brows, which really isn’t helpful if you’re ashy or mousy like I am.
I might have to sound a bit like Goldilocks and say that the Taupe shade is almost too cool, as it can look a little purple in certain lights, but I would still pick too cool over not cool enough. The two big strengths of the Cosmetics A La Carte Brow Ink are firstly it’s ease of use – it takes moments to create an impressively full and defined brow – but also the staying power; once it’s in place, it won’t budge until you get the make-up remover out. It can also apparently be used as a very good and natural eyeliner, although I haven’t tried it myself. It’s £23 here – link.
