I’m not 100% sure on the May 2015 Glossybox, to be honest. It’s a strange one as I can’t really put my finger on what I don’t like, but I think it’s usually because there’s always at least one item I’m really excited to get stuck into, and whilst the Glossybox May 2015 contents is certainly useful and practical, there’s nothing that’s got my beauty pulse racing.
It’s a sensible collection, this month, with five items that’ll help you through the summery months. Consequently you have a couple of make-up items, a couple of skincare items and a hair product too. Here’s a closer look at the May 2015 Contents:
First up is the product I’m happiest to see, which is the Etre Belle Aloe Vera Ultra Moisturising Gel. The reason I’m happy to have this is because I was off to buy some Aloe Vera gel today to have on hand for post laser soothing (here’s what I’m referring to, just in case you don’t know) so the inclusion of this means I won’t have to buy any myself. The other handy skincare product is the SASS Intimate Perfect Skin Concentrate, which I’m sorry, but it sounds like it’s going to be posh lube, doesn’t it? However, I would strongly advise using this in such a fashion since it’s actually a post hair removal soother that contains salicylic acid to exfoliate against ingrown hairs and suchlike.
Next on to the make-up goodies, starting with the Collection Cosmetics Lipstick from their lovely Field Day collection. I got the Tulip shade, but it isn’t clear on the box insert whether we’re all getting different shades – I believe there are three in the Field Day edit. The next makeup item is the MeMeMe Enchanted Eyes Dual Ended Eye Wand which is, as the name suggests, a double-ended liner/shadow stick. The shades are both blue – an alleged current key trend – which means I probably won’t get much use out of it.
The final product is the Zerreau Towel Off Shampoo Foam, which I might give a go as I do love a good dry shampoo, and this seems to be a product designed to bridge the gap between a dry shampoo and a full-blown hair wash. It sounds a little too good to be true, but I will give it a go anyway!
Do you see what I mean about the May 2015 Glossybox contents? A few goodies that’ll definitely get used, but nothing to squeal over, sadly. Ah well. For more info on Glossybox, head here – link.

It’s definitely a bit on the meh side… Will see what I get but this might be the month that finally finishes GB & I. Leaving them for my new beauty box love. X
My box came.. Same as yours other than I got 7 ml of hope in a jar instead of the lipstick. Having seen what their “sneak peak” for June’s box is I think I am going to cancel. Was ok value for money just difficult to get excited about. Plus since the Glossy Dots became less generous I feel it’s not such good value ..
