Last week’s Mask Monday introduced the first of the two new masks from Clinique, so this week we have the second one! The new Clinique Even Better Moisture Mask is a rich, thick, creamy mask that’s suited to all skin types, and even though it’s part of the Even Better range, I don’t think it contains anything to attack pigmentation or skin tone issues, but I could be wrong. I *think* it’s just a hydration-boosting mask that compliments the Even Better range.
As I’m currently having some pretty hardcore laser treatments, my skin is drier than usual – quite a statement considering it’s pretty dry generally – so I’m grabbing hold of whatever I can find to inject a serious dose of moisture back into my skin. The Clinique Even Better Moisture Mask is a great choice if you have skin that tends to suck-up anything applied to it as it’s very thick, so it sits on the surface for quite some time before absorbing which allows my skin to actually feel like it’s enjoying the benefits of a hydrating mask rather than a moisturiser masquerading as a mask.
I’d recommend trying this if you struggle with dehydration as it’s very effective at soothing and smoothing skin, leaving it looking and feeling plump and refreshed. If you’ve got time, this is a great one for the final stage of a Triple Threat facial, or if you’re short on time then use this after a good, exfoliating toner to really have an impact. the Clinique Even Better Moisture Mask is £34 here – link.
