I am so head-over-heels in love with this new collection from Dr Perricone MD, the No Makeup Skincare, which is every ‘no make-up make-up’ lover’s dream come true. It’s a small collection of everything you could possibly ever need to look your absolute, natural best and it really does work! The collection is inspired by the ‘flush of youth’, that rosy glow we have as youngsters that tends to disappear as we age, so the products are designed to help recreate that whilst also providing skincare benefits. This means the colours are pretty, flush shades that will suit pretty much anyone and the textures are light, creamy and very flattering.
Starting with the base products, there are now three foundations in total; 2 shades of No Foundation Foundation which contains Alpha Lipoic Acid to fight inflammation, the paler shade of which I’ve been reaching for most (and I’m wearing in the picture below) and the No Foundation Foundation Serum, which is a lighter, dewier, base product that contains Neuropeptides. These are all £45 each.
Next are the three base add-ons, with the first being the No Concealer Concealer. Annoyingly this only comes in one shade which is a little too dark for me, although it does blend into skin really well, but I hope they release a lighter one as I’ll be all over it. It’s a multi-purpose concealer that contains Vitamin C and it’s £29. The No Blush Blush is one of my absolute favourites from the collection, as it really is the most perfect shade for that ‘light exercise flush’ and I’ve been reaching for this every day. It contain anti-ageing power ingredient DMAE and it’s a lovely texture that’s blendable, buildable, and very easy to work with, plus it’s also £29. Finally the No Bronzer Bronzer I haven’t actually tried myself, but I did have it applied at the launch and it’s a handy, multi-purpose product that you can be used to warm up skin as well as contour on the eyes. It also contains Vitamin C and is also £29.
Finally we come to the finishing products, both of which are absolutely lovely. I’m so fussy about mascara and I always seem to like the ones nobody else does and hate the ones people go crazy for, so I was pleasantly surprised to really like the No Mascara Mascara which is a browny black shade containing Neurpeptides, so it works as a treatment and a mascara.
The brush is well developed and allows for either careful definition or built-up volume (or both!) depending on what you fancy. It’s also very easy to get off too and costs £25. Finally, the other favourite of the bunch, the No Lipstick Lipstick, which comes in a creamy, buttery, glowy formula that’s so comfortable to wear, plus the shade is an extremely flattering rosy shade that matches the blusher really well. It contains Neuropeptides as well, so it’s a real all-rounder at £25.
What a collection! If you like the natural look and enjoy the idea of make-up that’s actually doing good things to your skin whilst you wear it, I strongly suggest you check out the Perricone MD No Makeup Skincare; go for either of the base products (Foundation if you need the coverage, Serum if you don’t) and either the blush or the lipstick to start you off. Above I’ve wearing the full collection – with the No Foundation Foundation as my base – other than the No Bronzer Bronzer. The full range launched today into Selfridges here – link – and launches everywhere else on the 2nd July.

That blush is fab. Really natural, it looks lush.
It’s just gorgeous, like the rest of the range! I’m a total fan 🙂
