Last month we were teased with a little spoiler suggesting that the July 2015 Glossybox would be French-themed, and here it is! I think French beauty is most highly regarded for its skincare, so it makes sense that a French box would be skincare heavy.
I love the chic, Parisian design of the box, which is illustrated by the very talented Jamie Lee Rardin. Inside is a lovely little travel pouch containing four French goodies.
I have a bit of a thing for lipbalms, especially if they’re housed in a tube as I don’t like sticking my fingers in tubs if I can help it. The Lollipops Lip Balm Delicieuse is a creamy, sweet-tasting balm in pretty packaging that apparently contains an SPF, although I can’t seem to find out what level. Noxidoxi Enhancing Serum Base sounds promising, as it’s an antioxidant-rich, anti-inflammatory and hydrating serum that sits beneath moisturiser to plump and nourish skin.
Next up is the Teoxane Cosmeceuticals Perfect Skin Refiner which sounds pretty awesome since it’s a mix of AHAs (10% glycolic acid) and hyaluronic acid, which sounds right up my street, so I’ll be getting stuck into this shortly. The Vichy Aqualia Thermal Light Cream is low on my list purely because I already have it and have used it quite a bit – it’s actually very good – so it’s tricky to get excited about since it’s already part of my collection.
A final shout-out has to go to the Travel Pouch, also illustrated by Jamie Lee Reardin, since it’s awfully cute and actually very handy, especially for any impending holidays that you might have booked. I’m definitely a fan of the Glossybox July 2015 contents as I feel it’s a lot more appealing, it’s very prettily presented and I think I’ll get use out of all of the products. I’ve never tried Glossy Box, but really interested to see if I like it!

This box is a good one, so this is a great time to get involved xx
I was a bit disappointed with my box actually – although I got a perfume sample instead of the Vichy cream (which I would have preferred – you can’t please everyone I guess!)
