I always feel a bit rubbish when I become inconsistent with my posting schedule, as I feel like on one hand I spend months trying to convince you to read and follow my blog with the understanding that I’ll update regularly and try and share as much beauty and lifestyle news as I can possibly cram in, before then disappearing for the majority of July! July is probably the busiest month of the year for beauty events as we get to check out all the Christmas releases, which are launched via events on top of other events to share more current collections, so it’s an incredibly busy time and I am pretty relieved it’s all done and dusted. Don’t get me wrong, I may bitch and moan, but I do actually enjoy the experience, however I do find it quite tiring and I’m very much looking forward to a restful weekend and a week or two of taking it easy, catching-up on the blog and recovering from the madness of Christmas in July.
So what’s been happening? I’ve got so much to share with you and I’m just working out how to go about it. First up, I’m hugely excited about the new Pixi skincare launches which I’ll be posting about today. I also had a great event with the people behind Cult Beauty where we tucked into a lovely afternoon tea whilst hearing from some great skincare experts on the value of natural beauty – it was a very interesting talk that definitely gave me plenty of food for thought.
Pixi also have some great make-up releases, as do Makeup Revolution (do they ever not?) and Sleek have yet another i-Divine launching shortly alongside a small collection of facial highlighters that are ever so pretty. I’m also road testing a fat-free frying machine (ooo!) from Russell Hobbs that allows me to cook a whole basket of chips with just one teaspoon of oil, so I’ll be sharing my thoughts on that soon. Finally, I attended a party with Ultimate Ears last week where I was gifted one of their new UE Rolls and I can’t believe how awesome it is – so I’ll be reviewing that soon.
Even though I’ve been dipping in and out, my views have stayed relatively steady, which I very much appreciate! I’m really looking forward to getting back into the swing of things as it feels very strange not blogging much, so hopefully next week will all be back to normal. Famous last words…
You still seem to post more than other beauty bloggers I’ve seen and I hadnt actually noticed. Looking forward to the make up revolution new stuff! Already viewed the pixi stuff and that looks good too. That face at the top looks scary though!
Thanks Sophie! It is quite creepy isn’t it? 😀
I like it that you don’t post if you don’t have time- think bloggers that post in haste like that sacrifice content & quality. I know that when you post it will be informative & interesting x
Thanks lovely! It’s so nice to be back to normal though – after 4 years of pretty much consistent posting it felt weird not posting properly! xx
