I was going to try and mix it up today by making this post something other than skincare, but I decided to instead keep it all in theme and follow-on from my Skincare Update with a more thorough review of all three of the Institut Esthederm products featured in the post, as promised. I’ll warn you now, the Institut Esthederm products have long, French names that I’ve found quite confusing, especially as I’ve struggled to find the full range in shop, the packaging shots look different to the products I have and some of the product names are extremely similar to each other, but we’ll battle on!
Often when I’m sent a selection of products there’ll be one standout product that gets used lots, if I’m lucky. It’s pretty unheard of to find two products that’ll get regular use, so it’s pretty astounding that all three products I have are getting used continually and completely, so it’s safe to say that Institut Esthederm has been added to my list of skincare to love and find out more about, assuming I don’t give up on the tricky names. The first of the three products that’s only got a dribble remaining is the Eau Cellulaire Cellular Water Spray, a product that’s designed to mimic the water in your skin, with the result being that you can almost hear a sucking sound as your skin absorbs this – it’s a lifesaver for dehydrated skin and my skin cannot get enough of it, so I’ll have to buy another bottle of this soon. It’s here – link – for £16.
Next up is the Intensif Vitamin E2 Serum, which is a hydrating, soothing serum designed to settle angry, inflammed skin. It contains two forms of stable Vitamin E (hence the squared reference) and is a gel/cream formula that hydrates just enough without any greasy residue. This is one for anyone who breakouts, has scarring or sensitive skin as it’s very soothing, very kind to skin and generally lovely. Frustratingly I cannot seem to find a UK stockist for this anywhere, so I’ll update once I have.
Finally, the loveliest moisturiser that my skin is loving at the mo, which is the Intensif Hyaluronic Concentrated Formula Cream, which looks completely different in my pictures to the pot on the site, for some reason! This is a very rich and hydrating product that doesn’t absorb quickly, but instead keeps skin feeling hydrated and looking plump. Again, if you suffer from dehydrated skin and/or are breakout-prone, this is a wonderful hydrator for either day or night time that I really, really love. It’s £49.50 here link. There we have my first introduction to Institut Esthederm, and it’s been a very positive experience. The products are really well formulated, lovely to use and not too expensive, so if you’re looking for a new skincare range to try and you have tricky skin, this is a great choice.

Love your post, I have a question about the hyaluronic cream , I also received the same pot which looks totally different from the site as you said , I purchased in a Japanese website , is it genuine ? Why does it look so different ? Thank you ❤️
HI Sakura,
Thanks for your comment. I think it is genuine, I think it’s just been repackaged at some point – I could be wrong, but I get the impression that’s what happened!
